Book details
In this book we offer, Rachida Triki and myself, a new approach to the modernity that does not exclude the achievements of different civilizations that have fueled the culture of the Western Renaissance. For this, we tried to diagnose the constituents of the concept of modernity in economic, scientific, political, social and aesthetic. The first part is written by Fathi Triki and addresses the following questions: modernity and identity, modernity and scientific thought, modernity and political thought, and modernity and philosophical thought. The second part is written by Rachida Triki and addresses the following questions: modernity and difference in painting and aesthetics of painting time.
